Look at the Armament that baby can carry....She packs a punch i'll tell ya.
USMC style..
It be nice if CW gave us that load out for the F-8.That way we can pick our own to put on her.
Cool picture too.

Re: New F-8 pics!!!!!

Neat weapon options setups with the F-8.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: New F-8 pics!!!!!

The F-8's fuselage rails are all 4 in a unique position. Top/bottom, left/right---none match/mirror any other. And the Zunis ocupy the exact same locations as the Sidewinders. It's just that photo. Only the actual launcher is changed for Zuni vs Sidewinder--the fuselage pylon is the same, as is the adapter (for single or dual rails).

The locations are determined as follows:

Left side: Upper rail must clear refueling probe. Lower rail must clear upper rail.
Right side: Lower rail must clear RAT, upper rail must clear lower rail.

Far less noted than the "weird" rail positions, is the 5-degree cant of the wing pylons.

Re: New F-8 pics!!!!!

Neat diagram for the weapons configuration. Looks like something out of an old TO.
