THIS is the A-6E I want

Good pics are hard to find---much like the F-8, often the best pics to show people how it looked come from well-done model kits of it:

1/48 Revell Grumman A6E Intruder by Serge Dompierre (if I can't get a low-vis, then give me the best-looking high-vis)

Re: THIS is the A-6E I want

Very cool. I'd be in for that.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: THIS is the A-6E I want

It is nice as to me there is no such thing as an ugly A-6, but... I would not buy one in that scheme. I already have 3 CW Intruders & can't see myself adding anymore unless a low viz bird is released. Then i'll be in like Flynn!!

Take it out and play with it

Thumbs up Re: THIS is the A-6E I want

That is an attractive scheme, I quite like it. There doesn't seem to be many bright coloured A6s out there.

Sharp looking model and nicely detailed.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
