| Re: F-14 color questions Thank you for all your help. I'm going to go to the hobby store tomorrow and pick up some fresh cans of these colors to make paint chips. I had an old can of dark ghost grey on my workbench. Looking at that it seemed like the side of the Black Knights and the top of the Freelancers were a close match. I'm leaning toward the Black Kights being a more accurate TPS job, or maybe just a fresher paint job. The Freelancers F-14 matches the "Last Flight" A-6 also, so I could buy the different planes from different decades argument. At least it would be consistent. Here's a few pictures I took of the two F-14's side by side. | |||||||||||||
