CW's Flatley related to Dragon's F6F Flatley?

Ok so I was checking the CW Black Knights Tomcat when I saw the name, it kept bouncing around in my head until the name hit me. So are these two related or is it just a fluke?

It's not just a fluke. The Flatleys are a Naval Aviation Dynasty if there ever is one. Jimmy Flatley Jr of the Grim Reapers and VF-5 had a son, Jimmy Flatley III who was also a Naval Aviator, landing a C-130 aboard the Forrestal, flying in Vietnam in VF-31, CO of VF-33, and CAG of the Saratoga's Air Wing during the 1970s. Jimmy Flatley IV was CO of the Black Knights during Iraqi Freedom, Commander Joe Flatley, another grandson of Jimmy flew Hornets and retired after 16 years of service. I have not found out what has happened to Jimmy Flatley V, but he did get to ride during a trap in a C-2 COD plane in 2002

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.

Yes, I have the take off and landing. And I'm not talking about an episode of JAG where they did too.

Yep I've seen photos of this also. Would not be surprised if it turned up on You Tube.

There is video, old time quality but its there bigger than Dallas. If I knew how to post it here, I would.
None the less. Based on the info, I just bought the CW Flatley bird.
