How about some Helos? (or choppers for you Army types)

I posted this in the Witty forum on accident.

Anyways.

Any interest? I particularly would like to see a 1/72 Navy SH-60 (there's this really cool dark gray camo scheme for an anti-submarine or special warfare sqdrn but I can't find the pic for the life of me) or a MH-60 Nightstalker (from Blackhawk down). Perhaps CW could use the FOV mold and make some additions?

Only one wish for me......CH-53 Jolly Green/Sea Stallion! Lots of variants/liveries could be made of this awesome helo.

Choppers? Thats a bit dated, and we've dropped slicks too. We use Huey or UH-1, Crash Hawk or Sh*thook for our utility birds. Cobra, Apache and OH-58 for the attack birds. And then there is the Little Birds used by TF 160 (Crash Force 160). But only Arnold says Chop-pers!

An MH-53 out of Hurlburt would be awesome! Then again a plain old CH-53 would be pretty nice.

Re: How about some Helos? (or choppers for you Army types)

I'll go with Shawn's Sh*thooks in a modern (read OIF) livery. My brother served as crew chief in 2003/2004 in Kuwait/Iraq and I would love to buy him a model with a US livery. The Corgi models haven't even come close to what I want so bring it on CW! You can disparage the CH-47 (few will) but she is a workhorse that even the Apaches have to sprint to keep up with on the battlefield. She isn't sexy but she is gets the job done and can bust some serious a$$ executing her mission.

Well, I am more of a Navy guy myself so I don't really keep up with the current Army lingo. All I know is the Army don't call em Helos

firefighterpilot1,
I'm with you, I'd love to see some Choppers. I know that Century thus far has produced only US birds, but how about a US Chopper and then a Russian (Iraqi?) Mil or Hind to go along with it?

Anything for a weird life.

Doubt it would ever happen, but a Mil Mi-24 would be sweet!

TopHat,
Hey there.

Yeah, while all of us my go bananas over Russian birds, I'm not sure the general public would?
