Re: Choose The Next Release

So, am I alone in my admiration of the "Six"? Primary U.S. interceptor from the 60's through the 80's, and the only system to put control of a nuclear weapon in the hands of a single person during a mission.

I'd like a 106 The Montana Air National guard flew them and won a couple of William Tells. I read somewhere that because they painted the insides of their cockpits big sky blue that cost em a win. They also had a pretty nice color scheme.

Cool Re: Choose The Next Release

While I can't say that I'm particularly fond of the F106 Old Crow, that is a stunning picture you posted.

Re: Choose The Next Release

F-105 Thunderchief in Vietnam markings, please...then an F-100 Super Sabre in Vietnam markings...
These two should be made part of a series named "USAF in Vietnam War" or "Heroes of Vietnam" or something to that extent...
I hope CW will listen...Thanks in advance CW!!!

I would certainly buy on if they made it but I'm more in favor of the F-105 or F-100, an F-101 would be really nice too

Cool Re: Choose The Next Release

I'm probably a little off subject, but I'd sure like to see some manuracturer; e.g., CW, HM, Gemini, Corgi, separately or in some sort of gentleman's agreement, produce all the types of fixed-wing aircraft flown at any time in Viet Nam by USAAF, USMC or USN squadrons. Additionally, and here I'm out-of-my-depth, also flown in Nam by our allies. There are probably many current issues that fit the bill, but not marketed in that way.

I do love the Thud...but the Vigi is starting to grow on me if CW won't do a USAF bird!

Re: Choose The Next Release

I know I'm in the minority but I would love to see an F-5. Gorgeous little bastard that just looks fast. Lots of great liveries also.

Since CW is geared more towards USN aircraft, I'd definitely pick up an F-5 NSAWC adversary.
