Re: Does CW have plans to make F-18's?

Indeed. Of late, I've been flying the above-referenced Hornet around my living room while watching "Jetstream" on the Discovery Channel, and making "zoom zoom" noises. This is all well and good, but my arm gets tired from hefting a 1:48 diecast all that time.

Workhorse CF-188 in 1:72, for truth!

I totally agree that a CW F/A-18 would be terrific. Imagine if you will - accuracy beyond belief, real weapon loads, a sturdy and simple gear up/down conversion, pilots to sit in the bird, and all the damn color schemes in the world to choose from.

CANADIAN versions......

I don't care what they make as long as they do it!!! The could include Sidewinders, AMRAAM's, any multitude of bombs, Harpoons/SLAMS, HARM's....oh man...if only.

Forget the AMRAAMs, give us Sparrows, Sparrows, and more Sparrows. Nobody's ever made a Sparrow launcher in 1/72, period. And a lot of nations don't use AMRAAM. And the US Navy/Marines didn't until AFTER Desert Storm. If you want an air-to-air load Hornet for most places/eras, you need some Sparrows.

If we're lucky enough for Century to grace us with Hornets of any variety they will undoubtedly include both I'm sure. They let us load out our Tomcats with All Phoenix's or Sparrow's in addition to the Sidewinders. I love my Sundowner and Black Ace.
