2x F*'s, and 2x A-7's. I've got a self-imposed rule limiting me to a max. of two of each type when it comes to jets. Preferably one Navy and one Marines - maybe would also get an AF scheme if they did one?

Re: How many CW F-8's will you get?

Must have missed this...

I've been reading about the life of James Stockdale and seeing as how CAG birds seem to be it with CW, I think this would be a good choice.

Though I can't say he was designed for politics, everything I read about the man says honor and that's a good reason to have his F-8 or A-4 on my shelf.

Just a thought.

Operation Pierce Arrow
Commander James B. Stockdale in his F-8 Crusader leads the First American air strike against North Vietnam in an Attack on the oil facilities at Vinh, 5 August 1964.

Signed by artist R.G. Smith and Medal of Honor-winner Vice Adm. James B. Stockdale.

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

I'm in the crowd that will decide on the paint scheme when it comes to buying these birds. I have the second and third A-7 on order, the Marauder one didn't do it for me. I have the first F8 on pre-order just cuz though.

At least two I'm sure, probably more. CW rocks!

Re: How many CW F-8's will you get?

Looking as always to get two, one for myself and one for my son's collection. My son likes to get the first in the series as a collectible as well a display piece. I always look for a scheme I think looks great. Hoping they do the Marine Lucky 7 livery on this one.
