Re: F-4 Phantom from CW?

... and I hope whoever does an F-4 thinks of potentially doing the RF-4 (B/C/E) and the F-4G (Wild Weasel). Those are needed as well.

Re: F-4 Phantom from CW?

I'd love to see CW make an F-4 too. However, with HM's & Gemini's forthcoming offerings, I'd be very surprised if CW releases a Phantom as it would over saturate the market and CW knows that. There simply is not enough worldwide market demand for ooodles of F-4s released among 3 manufacturers. Also, with the enormous financial investment that Gemini is putting into their F-4 tooling, they will not be limiting themselves to British Phantoms only. Gemini will release US Phantoms.

Yeah but Gemini is too slow - they're gonna miss the boat! HM will beat them all out of the starting gate.

Place your bets, gentlemen? It's gonna be a 'horse-race' from here on out to put out the "Best of the Best F-4" mold for sure!

If I could be sure that CW was doing the F-4, then I would wait and only get theirs!

Hummmm i don't think i can wait that long....Since we don't really even know if CW is going to make one..Zed never really said one way or another

Re: F-4 Phantom from CW?

While I'm on record as saying you can't have too many Phantoms.... I would prefer CW to tackle something else first, such as the F-22 (would think that would sell well) or even F-18

Re: F-4 Phantom from CW?

We know HM is making them. We know GA is making British F4s with no proof of any US version to be made as yet. HM's will be here soon, GA's???? Now take the hope that CW will make them, and well it could be awhile. I'll get the HM ones for now, and hope someone decides to do a F4G Wild Weasel. I doubt it'll be CW or GA.
