I also took that into consideration slide. I do appreciate your answer although I must admit, it's all Greek to me.

Re: Last AJ210 Jolly Rogers F-14A on the Planet!!!

Well as it turns out I apparently will not be getting this model. The web site I purchased it from sent an e-mail saying my model is in pre-order status? Pre-order? It must be the translation. I think they mean back order. I hope I will not have a difficult time getting a refund. I cannot see them back ordering a model that has been sold out for nearly a year now. I wrote them back asking for confirmation, but have little hope of them understanding what I am saying. The tricky part is how to ask Paypal to retrieve my payment.

Looks like I'm the "Biggest Loser" on that deal.

Somethings gotta give.

AJ210 is out of my grasp again, RATS!

Louie,
That is tough. Why not buy an AJ203 VF-84 F-14 in the launch configuration? You can still find a few out there at the original price. Then if you still want a CW F-14 with the moving wings, you can buy another CW F-14 in other markings-- Maybe a VF-41 F-14?-- You can probably find one of those if you act quickly as they are selling out also. The VF-41 and VF-84 were contemporaries of each other on the USS Nimitz and would nicely complement each other.
Just my thoughts...

Unhappy Re: Last AJ210 Jolly Rogers F-14A on the Planet!!!

Thanks my friend, I do have the Lancers F-14 by CW and like it alot. I just have this love affair with the skull and bones get up. I like the play value in the swept wings options. Thanks for the suggestion though. Perhaps I will get lucky. Until then, my main focus is asking for a refund to a site that apparently speaks little or no Engrish.

You can...All you need to do is go to your account and go to the transaction number and set it up.

THat's too bad Louie, keep watching for one on the bay that's reasonable I suppose and meanwhile I seciond Kb's suggestion -- that Black Aces Tom is the nicest scheme yet IMHO... would be a good sub perhaps? (aside from the canopy issue on mine, of course )

IMHO the VF-111 scheme is right up there with VF-84's scheme. The semi-gloss paint on these two schemes is downright sexy! (yes, I just called a diecast model sexy ) I think it'd be a fine substitute.
