Smile Re: Last AJ210 Jolly Rogers F-14A on the Planet!!!

Thanks my friend I am happy you got what you needed. I have not given up on a Jolly Rogers F-14 just yet. I just have given up on the 210. I will plan on buying 4 (4) of the limited US releases of the newest CW Jolly Rogers F-14's. I will put a huge load on my credit card, but I want to keep a spare as I have a toddler who has recently decided he loves aircraft. The other two I will sit on for an unspecified length of time and use as leverage to trade or sell for models I want or cannot afford otherwise. It seems that that was the case with the 210 so what's good for the goose...............

As soon as CW announces officially the US only release that may force some with multiples of the 210 to let some go. The 210 had a not so subtle panel wash around the cockpit that made me pass on it when it was in my local shop and I hesitated. I am hoping the latest one will look more like the Black Aces F-14 it has a much less noticeable wash. This is just my observation, there are others who have clearly disagreed. So for now(sorry for rambling) I am sitting tight to see what the new exclusive VF-84 will look like.

I'd be interested to check this one out too. Most of my models come from the US so getting one may not be a problem. How quickly they sell out might though. Some many models coming and just not enough money to keep them joining my collection. My biggest problem is the cost of shipping though, I could get a stack of models for what I pay. We all have our crosses to bare. I will keep an eye out for AJ210 for you.

you will probably find that the wash varies from model to model ie how heavy it was put on at the factory and how well it was removed.have noticed a uk seller on ebay still has some cat launch jolly rogers

If any launch config Jolly Rogers will do, here's another place in the US: Flight One Models I've bought from him several times before (though mostly airliners).
