Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

I think CW should go completely different and do (in my choice): Tornado; MirageF1 and Mirage III; Israeli Kfir; Harriers GR7/9's and AV8; F-5; Mig 23 Flogger!!
What do you guys think?

I'd like to see some diecasts made of the aircraft produced by other countries, like a MiG-19, Saab Draken, and Super Mystere B.2. However, I don't see CW or any of the others doing these (or others) for years, if at all.
In order for these aircraft to be made (IMO), the best chances would be:
1) Modellers/collectors in the countries where the real planes are produced setting up their own diecast company focusing on their favorite aircraft (like AModel has done with its plastic kits of Russian aircraft); or
2) Extensive and continous lobbying on this forum and others, hoping that the product development people at the established diecast companies take notice and commit to making models of these (for lack of better terms) lesser known/less popular types.
Unless, or course, MiG, Dassault, and SAAB can be convinced to enter the diecast market themselves....

I'd prefer a USMC AV-8B in an OIF scheme.

Smile Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

A-3 and RA-5 would be impressive.

Think an S-3 or E-2 would be more likely....

Would take all four though!!!

Yes me too! And I would also like to see a Harrier II in ODS scheme made as well.

The Harrier would be awesome, but since CW seems to be doing Vietnam/early 70's aircraft, I'd like a F-100D Super Sabre or Skyraider.

Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

Outside of Corgi's early USMC Harrier, I don't believe I've ever seen one made.

Didn't FM make some 1/48th AV-8Bs?
