Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

Rush, I did not realize that HM was doing a USAF F-4E. If so, you are right-- that should satisfy the Phantom fans for the time being, though I would still like to see a CW-quality USN F-4. I would expect the HM F-4E to be rather nice if they do one. Also, like you, I would love to see the Century Series planes.

I don't know if HM is actually going to do an "E" model, but it was a topic for a thread or two earlier this year. Check out the HM section from August/September...

I'll post a question over on the Hobbymaster forum and see what turns up. I hope it's true-- I'll take any good quality F-4 I can get.

What about the S-3 Viking? Now there's a plane I'd like to see!

I'm all for an S-3 Viking. It's really a pretty cool plane.

I also posted somewhere else that I'd like an E/A-6B or E-2C would be really cool too. Definitely unchartered territory with those in 1/72 diecast, at least that I know of.

A-4 Skyhawks are great little planes too, although they've been done before.

May as well keep working backwards; FJ- Fury, F9F Cougar, Skyray, F-3 Banshee and RF Banshee. How about a Stoof? Lets face it, any USN/USMC type would be great.

I say F-105 or F-4D Skyray.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Next Century Wings Release (after the Crusader)

I think CW should go completely different and do (in my choice): Tornado; MirageF1 and Mirage III; Israeli Kfir; Harriers GR7/9's and AV8; F-5; Mig 23 Flogger!!
What do you guys think?

I 'd pass on any of those, those are more up Corgi and HM's lane.
