| Re: Why not a VF-1 Wolfpack Tomcat? My favorite is still the early ones with the Radom Tan and white Nose, white Rudders/Flaps/and horizontal Stabs Like the ones of my model I posted a while ago. http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ts/TOYS285.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ts/TOYS283.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ts/TOYS281.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ts/TOYS280.jpg (Note the extended struts on he gear) One of these days I'll get around to finishing it...pilots and a slight weathering/wash) plus taking better pictures of it...sorry for the lousy photos took them in a rush. | Re: Why not a VF-1 Wolfpack Tomcat? Great "approach" dio there, Dobber...Excellent job on the extended struts too! An aircraft never looks good posed "inflight" with gear down unless the struts are extended (especially Navy fighters) in my narrow-minded opinion. I would love to see CW provide optional extended struts and positionable tailhook. It would make for an interesting display variation. (dreaming, I know) I also like the old tan and white noses as well.........not black ones though... | |||||||||||||
