I wasn't able to find one... and I tried just about everybody in the US that sells 1/72 scale. Even tried Airshop - Top Gun in Japan and was told they wouldn't export to the US since it was a Japanese only release. Good luck Matt!

if you communicated with Top Gun, they won't ship to distributers in the US. but you can buy it from their shop online and they will mail it to you individually.
You just have to fax them your credit card number etc. I'm in Australia and have ordered multiple times from them. I've received their goods in as quick as 3 days(which was quite a shock to both me and the seller)!

IKONOS (whether he remembers it, or not) and I have a connection in Japan who I'm sure would be kind enough to purchase a copy and ship for cost. Aki is a pretty gracious fellow and has pulled something like this off before.

I'm interested in one, too. However, adding the cost of intl shipping, the generally higher MSRP in Japan etc, makes it too expensive. If I could get one for $60 I would, but not any more. Maybe Aki would Aki-tize the nosegear for me though? That'd be worth it. See if he can make a working kneeling action.

Or maybe we can all get in a group-buy from Aki to save on shipping, etc.

Good idea...If they can get something like that worked out i buy one of these as well.

Negative, they won't go for individual shipment to the U.S. - I tried.
