Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

Here's a sampling of what to expect. Don't worry, the changes are not major. It's primarily a maintenance requirement.
  • Vbulletin 3.6.8 system software install (currently four versions behind).
  • TMH Theme design recreated from scratch for new software and standards compliance
  • Attachment Pop-up script updated.
  • Image Hosting software updated to improve performance.
  • Permanent First Post - This bew feature places the first post (thread starter) at the top of every page of the thread.
  • Trader Reputation System - This system will replace the "Feedback" forum currently in place and will offer a more "ebay like" operation.
  • Reorganized and improved default avatars.
  • Enhanced moderator commenting and edit history system. (moderators only)
  • Microsoft Word copy/paste issue resolved.

What does this have to do with Century's A-6 Intruder?

Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

I assumed when Skunky told me it was flexible, "flexible" meant rubber.

Yeah, it's not rubber, Elmer. It appears to be a soft plastic so it does have some "give" to it....

BTW, the refueling probe on my AJ500 is pointed straight ahead. Maybe they gave mine a dose of Cialus before it left the plant.

Thumbs up Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

Judging from my experience, the probe can be removed easily pulling it upward with heat. I'll post the pics in progress if you' want to see.

I think I'll probably regret this, but how does one heat just the probe in order to remove it. I should leave well enough and live with the woonky probe, but now that I find it's plastic I might attempt a repair job. All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Well... I hope my upcoming Moonlighter is the Cialus dosed one!

Easiest method is to heat the plastic object in question with very hot water (not boiling), remove it and straighten - repeat as often as required until object is straight ... (no comments please Skunky!)

Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

All suggestions gratefully accepted.

These are the pics of my Moonlighter. I decided to remove the windshield and the fuel probe as a horrid seam (due to burrs) could had been seen between the windshield and the fuselage, the installation angle of the probe had looked strange and wanted to relocated the RH seat.

All the edges where meet with the fuselage and the canopy have been painted in black.

Regarding the probe, the lower portion where is inserted into the fuselage was cut and a 0.4mm OD stainless steel rod is installed. The plastic pipe which is RH in the pic is inserted to the stainless steel rod to get the proper installation angle. The lower edge where meets with the fuselage is painted in black like the actual ship.

Hope it would work for your job!
