That is a good looking A-6! Thanks for posting the pictures.

I have a Moonlighters Intruder on order-- I don't know when it is due out, but I can't wait.

Oi! You boys are making me jumpy! I've ordered one of these and will have a hard time sending it back. I don't have any CWs yet but have 3 on order. I'm hoping they're all good.

Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

I just noticed that my AJ-500 Intruder has a few issues. The AJ tail art is crooked on the starboard side, while the fuselage has a glossy finish - the wings and stabilators have a matte finish, and the canopy doesn't fit flush with the fuselage when it is closed. Did anyone else notice these issues? I really like all my CW's but a few things still need to be improved upon given the price of these models. I just want to discuss a few constructive thoughts to help CW improve their already fine models.

I think those are individual issues on their model. The canopy issue could have been found on my both KA-6D and A-6E models and the one on my models were due to burrs on the canopy. I believe it can be fixed easily in case the one on your model is the same factor.
BTW, anyone know the landing gear wheels of their A-6 are the same ones of their F-14? I do want CW to improve this scamped work.

Cool Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

More A-6E images.

Check panther's angle of attack on both sides of stab; positioin on starboard side looks correct. The pylon slots on starboard wing seem a bit to large. Needed Elmer there, but not on port side. Odd.

Re: Intruder Alert...Intruder Alert...

Woah, what happened to the angle of the re-fueling probe? The AJ / panther art looks crooked (like mine) on the starboard side. Starboard does mean right - right?
