The Navy "Desert Storm" one is a must.

I don't care for the "Desert Storm" written across the top- it's kinda cheesy. Otherwise, its a good lookin' bird.

Cool Re: Speaking of A-7s

A chacon a son gout. The A-7 had to be one of the ugliest birds ever to leave the nest. Will I buy one if CW makes it? Hell yes, but I'll be peeking out from my self-applied blindfold when I open the box. The A-7 was a heavyweight as a combat aircraft, but not a beauty contest winner. In a fight, I'll take ugly over pretty everytime.

Re: Speaking of A-7s

This goes back to a point I made a couple of weeks ago. CW has a habit of making me like airplanes that I never really paid attention to before. A-6? Wasn't fast and sexy, but now I like it...
A-7? Well, I think its going to take alittle bit of time to grow on me. But I'm sure I'll love them as soon as I get the model!

Re: Speaking of A-7s

One thing that always impressed me about the A-7 is that, much like it's F-8 cousin, had a serious speedbrake.....I think when that barn door deployed it slowed the SLUF down to around 10 or 11 knots...

Re: Speaking of A-7s

The first "D" photo Nockers posted- that's what I'm talking about...a VANG A-7 with the Rebel Flag marking, before the VANG became PC...

Hehe...Well, Skunky, using this argument, I wonder why the US is wasting so much money on the F-35 when an A-7 could already do almost the same thing! ;-)

I'm telling you, CW has a way of making me like new airplanes. The A-7 is growing on me already...

Re: Speaking of A-7s

So what's the story on this bird? Was it ever used as one of the bad guys in TOP GUN training? The camo looks cool to me, actually!
