Good job Andrew! It is a rare commemorative bird. Excellent! The Black Aces version is beginning to grow on me though!

I've just received my Black Aces F14 - my first piece of diecast from CW. To be honest, words truly do (almost) fail me as to the quality and 'beauty' of this piece of diecast - superlatives like excellent, superb etc. do not do this bird justice ... .

Also, although I don't set much store by it, I'll have to admit that it's kinda cool getting certificate number 21 of 1000 .
(I'll have to now get the A7 Corsair II and the A6 Intruder )

I just got mine from a local store this evening. The cert. number ranges from 42 to 770. Picked 79 for a special reason. Saw the A-6 Intruder 1996 last flight but went for the VF-21 F-14A instead - The store is offering 50% off the second item purchased. So far, I have most of the CW F-14s. Now I need to figure where to display them.

I just got mine in the mail today. This is the first Century product to hit my hands all though I have all of the A-6's and a Jolly Roger F-14 on the way. I have heard a lot of hype on these models, and was curious to see if they lived up to it. The answer is yes. These models are just great looking. Detail is out of this world.

Not sure if it's just plain bad luck but upon closer inspection, found a number of unpainted spots including one rather obvious one at the front landing gear. Will just apply some white paint to rid the region.
