I'd like the VF-1 and VF-2 from the first operational cruise on the Enterprise, back in 1975. I'd get both of those.

Short term though, I want a "D" model (coming soon I guess).

FVD

VF-101 is a D model. Thats available now. Got mine for some time now.

VF-101 is a D model. Thats available now. Got mine for some time now.

OK, I didn't know that. I thought the VF-154 was the first D. I'll wait for that one anyway, I suppose, as it's due any time now.

VF-154 never had D models. they were the last unit to use the F-14A right up until their transition to Super Hornets. That new VF-154 is the special marking 2000 model but is also an A model.

You're absolutely right again. I'm all mixed up with the two squadrons. But now I think I've got it. I'll get the VF-101 D model.

You could always wait for another F-14D scheme which i'm sure will come
