Re: more new tomcats announced

And by the way, does anyone know where Miss Molly is today? Is she going to be saved for a museum?

Re: more new tomcats announced

The best Miss Molly decals are these by far: http://www.zotzdecals.com/F-14.htm Almost all sold out, but 1/72 still available.

Miss Molly was 161621, which went to VF-154 afterwards. It was both the 50th Anniversary CAG, and the SD-Knight CAG that Forces of Valor did. It was also #204 for VF-154 for a while. Don't know what happened to it afterwards, it was not the VF-154 CAG nor CO at the end nor even with the squadron AFAIK. It's not on display according to the list: http://www.f-14association.com/display.htm

In an interesting note, if anyone here has ever seen "Macross Zero"----Shin's F-14 is 161621, according to the Hasegawa decal sheet---though in that alternate universe it has been upgraded to an F-14A+Kai. (Which is basically an F-14B with a D's chinpod, and AMRAAM capability)

Re: more new tomcats announced

I got a set of decals coming for her. So I plan to make a Century Wings F-14 into Miss Molly complete with markings.

I can't help it. It is a combination of my two favorite things. Women and airplanes.

161621 is at AMARC in AZ. After time with 154 it went on to serve with VF-101 at Oceana. I'm sure that if it hasn't been destroyed already, it will soon be so, due to the latest action taken by the govt. to render unusable any A model Tomcats in storage. As far as I know there will only be anywhere from 15-18 D models left as war reserves in Davis Monathan.

MD, she was last seen with a purple robot on a beach in Tahiti.
