Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Any chance we could vote on what schemes we want in the future? Would they listen? My want-list is long, and I'd love to give Century hundreds of dollars for more F-14's---but not any of the ones announced/rumored so far. I'd love a VF-154 plane---but they picked IMHO the least-colorful scheme VF-154's done in a decade. Give me 1998 or 1996.

So many cool schemes out there... (though we need to know exactly what versions of the A model they can produce first for some).

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Here are a few pictures of my VF-1 that I'm working on that I made the landing gear modifications I was refering to. Still got alot of work to do on it but I just thought a diecast like this would be cool!

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

That is a sweet display. I love it.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Thumbs up Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

That's outstanding, Dobber....Looks great!......That dio just wouldn't look right if the aircraft was about to trap with pre-compressed struts!...

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Great display set up there Dobber.
I'll be getting my Jolly Rogers fixed wing on Monday.
I would love to be able to have a carrier like deck for a display.

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

I want that too! First F-14B I ever saw, and one of only 2 front-line F-14's I've seen. (I saw AA112 though, 161855 at the time) I can supply plenty of pics if they need them...

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

had an email from yoshi and hope to post you a picture of the updated scheme for the vf-154's at some point.
problem with the low vis schemes is they dont sell aswell as versions with some color on them and this has been discussed with yoshi.its not the low vis scheme itself its just the drabness of no colour does'nt grab the occasional buyer.you want to come to the uk or europe and see some of the boring grey raf tornado gr4's and belgian f16's around all sqn markings are being removed from these aircraft at present so everyone looks exactly the same.speaking of the hornet how could dragon get its superbug so wrong when the new dragon 1/144 kit is superb with optional front nosegear!
