Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Just blew the bankroll at my local hobby store tonight
Picked up following F-14's
Sundowners
Jolly Rogers 203
Jolly Rogers 210
Grim Reapers
And of course the Intruder A6E
Left the tanker. and the other 14's
Figured I may as well get them all now before he sells out.

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Why a second Jolly Rogers instead of a different squadron?

I chose the exact same ones for my collection except for AJ-203. I have the Moonlighters A-6 on pre-order.

Have seen those planes up close and personal over years. Don't know other squadrons.
Liked the launch version, think it will work into a nice diorama some day.

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Elmer,

Are you still around? You posted a while ago... Not to threadjack this thread but I just realized that his tagline is about the 458th BG from WWII. My current squadron is the 458th Airlift Squadron. We currently fly C-21s. That's pretty cool!

Have a good night,
Jeff

Yes, I am still here! Interesting! I don't think their is a lineage connection between the two, but I could be wrong. Do you know?
