Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

I'm now the proud owner of AJ200 F-14 Tomcat. What a model and bang for your buck! It replaces a Revell F-14 from many years ago and I'm knocked out by the quality , finish, and solid feel of the model. Fast movers are not my main collecting area but this one is a gem. Does anyone know if Century have any other 'fast movers' on the way?

Ditto. I boxed up my Revell model for a future gift to my son (unless someone out there really, really, really, wants to collect this one and missed it; PM me).

Thats like when a private collector donates a bootleg painting to an art musuem and keeps the original version for themselves

So Zed, any more "TASTERS?" It's been a while since we've heard anything. Any news on when we may see this release or what any other possible releases will be?

...and two more VF-84 jets with different modex's to be released shortly.

I wish one of those would be a 90's low-vis scheme.

Who said anything about "donating?"

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

I dredged this old thread up from the archives...this may be the record holder for thread pages, replies, and views. It's pretty interesting to read what was said when CW first released their Tomcat. I thought I knew everything there was to know about collecting military aviation diecast until I discovered this forum but this is where I learned about Century Wings! Thank you guys, now I have 3 CW Tomcats, 2 Intruders, and I can't wait for the new stuff...I mean...new SLUFF!
