Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Ugh... I'm starting to become sick of the Jolly Rogers at this point. 30 different squadrons flew the Tomcat and this is the only one that gets any attention. It's like David battling Goliath. It's not fair

I have to kind of agree here...No denying it's a great looking scheme, but it's almost a bit of a cliche. That's why I don't have this one.

Zed's avatar is VF-154, Dobber's is VF-1, and mine is VF-111. Let's have avatars for every F-14 squadron BUT the Jolly Rogers, and send Century a message.

C'mon folks, you have to admit that the Jolly Roger looks kinda cool on one of the meanest looking aircraft ever to fly - they are made for one another and belong together .

(And no Skunky, it's not a cliche ... )

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Even removed from an aircraft/squadron, the Jolly Roger emblem is easy to recognize due to association to pirates.

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

Hey that's kinda neat to have a every Cag bird of that era of the Jolly Rogers
Other era's would be cool too and i hope this will even out with the other sqn cag birds that Century will make.
Love to see a Sundowner too.

Re: Century F-14 Jolly Roger

I love the Jolly Rodger scheme,I really do, but I'm also VERY tired of it. This isn't Century's fault either, it seems that every manufacturer seems to do the Jolly Rodgers. For me it's just way over used, especially because I'm also a Macross fan . In fact this is why I almost over looked Century's F-14's when I first saw them on preorder from the FM. I just felt like "ANOTHER Jolly Rogers Tomcat" Glad I didn't pass it up though
