Re: The Official Begging for a Crusader Thread

I saw some thread about how it takes a certain number of schemes for a model to be made (and that they must be 'colorful') and for it to be successful for the manufacturer. Do you guys think there are enough colorful Crusader schemes for their to be real hope that CW might actually make one? I haven't been able to find many pics, but they could definitely do the one I posted above, plus the sundowners and checkerboard scheme. And then anything with the shark mouth would sell I'm sure. I think it would do well just because there has never been one (like the A-6 they are about to release).

Which squadron is this star scheme from??

Count me in for a Navy bird first, maybe one of those profiled on Dog Fights!

Re: The Official Begging for a Crusader Thread

Are there enough schemes?!?!?! Are you serious? The Crusader has some of the most colorful schemes ever, and LOT of them! Yeesh, even the squadrons whose F-14 markings weren't very cool, had cool F-8 schemes.

Colt40Five---that's VMF(AW)-235, the Death Angels.

Re: The Official Begging for a Crusader Thread

You know, to get some good pics, I think I'm going to have to scan from my F-8 books. SOOOOO many cool schemes out there...
