Most of the time, I'm right there with you sky -- I put quality above all else (which is why I don't collect certain brands). That price is gonna be hard to accept though -- however, if it were a vietnam camo F-4 I'm sure I'd cave, quickly ... and I may when I can see one of these cats in the flesh, too. I can't get past FOV's panel lines, even if the model is more accurate. I totally agree with you on the pitot and gear with Dragon's, though.

at the moment only f-14 tomcats, but who know's if these are a hit with collectors perhaps yoshi could be persuaded to use his modelling skills on other subjects

I am with PappyB, I want a Vietnam camo F-4 with all the ordinance. I have the 1:72 Corgi Phantom and the 1:48 FM Phantom and none of them have any mud-moving ordinance and this really was the Phantoms main role.

One of the most well-known Navy fighter squadrons is the "Jolly Rogers" Fighter Squadron VF-84 (later VF-103), based at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia. The famous skull-and-crossbones design has been with the squadron since its inception as VF-17 in 1943. The Jolly Rogers name and motif was handed down from the squadron's first aircraft, the F4U Corsair. These are now in stock at TFM, and from the pictures he has up on his site, there doesn't seem to be any pilots included. Of course, I could be wrong. Anyone who has this model already care to validate this?
