These are some shots of how it looks like in its packaging. I have yet to find a place to display it.

Re: Have to ask, how many have the A-6 on order already...

Is there money to be made in a weapons pack for the CW A-6s??? Spare set of wing tanks, 2 racks of snakeyes, 2 racks of CBUs, maybe some MK-84s or napalm....If you're listening CW and it makes fiscal sense...I think the A-6 line would be a good target for an accessory pack!

I thought so....But do you guys think it would sell enough for CW to justify making it? I've only seen the 4 weapons packs made by Dragon, so I'm guessing that for the most part it doesn't make business sense to release these types of packs. BUT I think in the case of CW they could make it specifically for the A-6 and only make 2000 or so and then between all the different customers for their A-6 types they could sell out. Hell I'd settle for a pack that only contains all the accessories they have already made for the A-6 (wing tanks, snakeeyes, shrikes), that way they don't have to do any new molds. At least then I could have an all bomb loadout on my AJ500....

If Dragon's weapons pack were actually useful/compatible with their own planes, they'd probably sell better. (Or if Dragon would stop making F-16/18's with launchers molded on that prevent the use of any other weapon---what's the point of interchangable weapons if only 1 type fits?) Anyways, the weapons packs were scarce for quite a while, so they must have been popular for a time. Few places have more than 2 of the 4 in stock at any time.

Also, if Century made a nice "bombs" set that both the A-6 and F-14 could use, I'd be estatic. (GBU-12's especially---that's THE F-14 Bombcat weapon and we need it, and A-6's used it often in Desert Storm)
