Thanks Lee G, roowalker and JP I was kinda leaning in that direction too so I will pursue the Voss tripe to be Bishop's adversary like that scheme, as always great input here

Udet is my favorite... but like roowalker stated, they are habit forming... so I picked up the other two. You can't go wrong with any choice of the three. They are all outstanding.

I don't have Richthofen's, as I have that one by Model Power in 1:48 (yea, yea, I know it isn't NEARLY as good), but I have Voss's, and Udet's will be on the way from Glen once he gets the F3F in.

I bought a couple when they first came out but got rid of them because the rubber wing guns were cross-eyed.
Were these the ones with no swazi?
I also try to stick with the 1:72 and 1:35 scales.

I have 3 DR 1's
1 Nieuport 11
1 ME-109E
and should have the pre-war USS Ranger Wildcat arriving Wednesday thanks to my good friend Phantom Phan (Gerry) at Big Guns Collectibles. He gives some of the best prices and service yet found.

Just wish they would finally get some of their P-36s out.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: How many Carousel 1 planes do you own?

Hey,Hurriup! If you buy all three, that should help stimulate C1 in the direction of that fabled Fokker DVII that we have all wished for.(would sure be great to see a couple of THOSE under the Ole Xmas tree!) Cruver, its been my happy experience that Frank has always been pessimistic about C1 release dates.....They have indicated a 15 August date, but I'm thinking perhaps about 1 August for the first livery. I'll start bugging Amy @ Apollo about the last week of July......

Have all three on order through Apollo and really looking forward to the P-36s coming out. Just hope they expand this line to cover Hawk 75A export version.

Re: How many Carousel 1 planes do you own?

Just added one more Carousel 1 to the collection. Charlie Shields' 1940 VF-4 Grumman F4F-3. Carousel should pay HobbyMaster a commission on this one. With the HM's pre-war F2A and soon to be released F3F, I decided to start collecting 1/48 pre-WW2 fighters. And this Carousel is a dandy. It's funny how one manufacturer's decision to make certain models can have a positive effect on the sales of a competing manufacturer's products. As long as there is no overlap, everybody wins. Now where is that P-36?
