Re: Price v. Value

I started the conjecture on this thread, and that was all it was: conjecture... based on few 2007 releases, no new molds, and no new castings for the P-40, Nieuport 11, Nieuport 17, and Me109. Additionally, stock is available everywhere for all of their models, including their finest: Fw 190s, Boyington Tomahawk. I just don't see how they can stay in business with only 2-4 releases of each mold. Seems to me like a company in shutdown mode. Of course, current momentum can change for 2008. I hope so. But Louie is right, this is all conjecture which I did not intend to be morphed into rumor.

Carousel's aircraft line is their secondary line with cars being their primary.. I don't believe Carousel is going out of business, and I hope they aren't, but their lack of production in the aircraft range doesn't bode well... They can still offer repaints of their current issues and be competitive, and I hope they do that to keep them alive in this market..

Yes, when I wrote "company in shutdown mode" I meant the aircraft model line.

I agree with you, Harry... their lack of production in aircraft models does not bode well. If silence from the company continues to be the norm for the first quarter of 2008... well, I'll shut up (don't want my speculation fuelin' rumors), we shall see.
