Re: So, what's next for Carousel 1?

Well if prices go up as you say, then I was able to get into some significantly nicely detailed and acurate models for a really sweet price. If what you suggest is true, you might think that Hobby Master might keep their prices down a bit longer to strengthen their foothold in the market. To be honest I must have missed thread regarding how their initial models were underpriced.

Just about every starting thread regarding the Buffalo and Spitfire discusses how cheaply priced they are.. How else can HM offer 1/48 scale A/C at almost half the price of all the other manufacturers?? You did get some great deals on the A/C and get them while you can because a year from now, they will most likely be priced in the $50-$70 range, especially with the 1/32 SBD coming in at $130+..

Easy, Cappy. Thinking and speaking do not always go hand in hand......

TopHat, I believe you are referring to RockJock. Thanks for the support. I just do not appreciate totally unnecessary and untruthful cracks taken at me.

Me??? I have no problem with Eddie. I just stated the truth. If you want nice die-cast planes then expect to pay the price.

Just relax, there are a bunch of other dealers that should still have them at the regular price, but I wouldn't wait too long if a price hike is coming..

If Carousel 1 do hike their prices, which I think is highly unlikely, then they'll not be able to survive in the market for long - their models are already at a premium price point ...
