Re: So, what's next for Carousel 1?

My new formula for 1/48:

Something that won't sell = something that will sell.

or

Hawker Typhoon = will sell

Ju 88 = will sell

SB2C Helldiver = will sell

C1, I've proofed the formula. Now get to yer blackboards.

Re: So, what's next for Carousel 1?

How about one of those cool lozenge type camos?

Already offered by Corgi, due this December (keeping my fingers crossed, as I have it pre-ordered!)

Re: So, what's next for Carousel 1?

This is posted on Apollo's (retailing arm for Carousel 1) home-page:

Welcome to APOLLO!
2008 MODEL RELEASES WILL BE POSTED AND 2008 CATALOGS WILL BE MAILED IN A FEW WEEKS.

Of course this could be cars only. However, here's keepin' fingers crossed it will include aircraft models!

I would add Curtiss P-36/Hawk 75 to that list.

Jim, take if from me. The only thing better than WW I stuff is P-40s!

Re: So, what's next for Carousel 1?

2008 models are now posted at Apollo's web-site. C1 will release 9 new auto models, and the 2008 catalogue mails today.

Guess what?...... No 2008 aircraft models posted. This is terribly disappointing.

You think they might have posted some pictures or at least drawings if they had something in the works.
