| Baracca's Italian AF Nieuport will get most of this company's WW1 offerings. I will be nearly broke (hobby flow wise) but as my money gets low at least my taste and level of quality survives. I do want to say that this model will be proudly displayed among my Matchbox, Hallmark, and Model Power planes that is why I bought it. They are all very well done and deserve an honored place on my shelf but man these C1's are the very best yet made. I do look forward to the Corgi Albatross. I chose this Italian scheme because it was unique and adds some flavor to a mostly German,British and French representation. I cannot say enough about this model and look so forward to more.![]() | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Baracca's Italian AF Nieuport Thanks for that Louie, I really cannot afford to veer off into collecting WW I aircraft, although ever since I got Corgi's Swordfish, bi-planes seem to not be at all that bad | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Baracca's Italian AF Nieuport I agree, Louie, I posted a somewhat similar description after I received my Nieuport by Carousel, I believe back on MH I. They really are superb. | ||||||||||||||

I have to echo Louie's review (I also posted my appraisal of the Prince model on Capn' Eddie's other thread); these Nieuports are STUNNING. C'mon Cardo! Join the club! | |||||||||||||||

| Re: Baracca's Italian AF Nieuport I've got the Baracca and it is wonderful (so is the Werner Voss Dr.1, simply stunning). I do wish Carousel One would revise their WW I fighter prices downward a bit, but if they sell at that price (I know I paid full price), then so be it. There's not too much competition in the WW I department right now, I hope Corgi's entry into this segment will force Carousel to re-assess. But the quality is certainly there, no doubt about that.
