| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 I just ordered my first WWI Carousel 1 airplanes. Well 5 of them I should say and very excited to see them. I saw Louies Newport II bebe and Udet's Fokker Dr.I triplane. Wow! I loved them, so I just did 4 BIN's off ebay. Can't wait to get them! I bought the Newport Lafayette Escadrille 6141 with rockets, Newport II bebe 6142, Fokker Dr. I Triplane Warner Voss 7122 and the Red Barron Triplane 7121. I have the Udet triplane due in soon also. Christmas has come early again this week. ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 Off topic, but how were those rockets ignited and were they used against blimps or ground targets? There have to be some rumours on new WWII planes for 2008. | |||||||||||||

Way to go Mike! Let's keep the momentum going! Who will be next to snatch up a few???? Every model counts... it is one less sitting on a shelf somewhere, and one more toward C1 finally getting new releases out! | ||||||||||||||

| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 great job Mike. You are going to become like a crack addict when you get your first few Caropusel biplanes. They are put together so beautifully and so far every model i own is straight nothing crooked or loose. Photo-etched details make a big difference. And to answer the last question about more Nieuports yes, there will be at least one more but most likely a few more. I want the Nieuport 17 that is silver with the black heart and skull insignia. There are only 600 of each model made according to C1's CEO. That means there are currently a total of 1800 of the 3 different Fokker Dr 1's out. When Corgi's WW1 stuff hits the market it will start a frenzy as collectors build long awaited WW1 collections. This will definitely increase the demand for C1's planes. They are nearly extinct on e-bay except for the cheaper "Flyboy's" movie stuff. The rockets were used to take out balloons. Norman Prince who's plane is depicted was an expert at such destruction. | |||||||||||||

| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 Ordered today the 3 german triplanes Udet, Richthofen and Voss. Looking really forward to them. Cant wait to compare/sit next to my C1 Doras. Will be really a good diorama (WW1/WW2). | |||||||||||||

| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 I love my little Fokkers! I have Udet's and Voss' and I may break down and get the Red Baron's too. They are very nice but my Udet has a slightly misaligned wind screen and machine gun. | |||||||||||||

| Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007 I'll chime in,they are little jewels,I "converted" a bookshelf to a WWI German airfield display, and I never get tired of these babies.Spesking of quality,I dropped my Red Baron version from about 4 feet onto a hard surface, all that broke was the landing gear and prop and tailskid....repaired in 20 minutes and you can't tell it happened! Happy New Year! Mike | |||||||||||||
