I received the new Fokker Dr 1 yesterday. Boy oh boy oh boy, I ain't singing the 1:48 blues any longer!

Lordy lordy, what a beautiful model! C1's triplanes are out of this world!

Yes, those C1's really makes nice little fokkers, don't they!

What was that funny story about dem fokkers flying Messerschmitts? I can't find it! Someone point me to the link or re-post that hilarious story.

Re: New Fokker Triplanes for 2007

Hi - I am wishing to acquire 6 WW1 diecast biplanes so that I may construct a mobile for my young son (to hang from the ceiling), preferably 3 British and 3 German. Would anyone have these in 1:72 (or similar) scale for sale? Would Model Power be the best bet? I can find Sopwith Camel, Nieuport, DR1, DVII and Albatros at Model Power. Are Boley brand considered ok for its SE5a or Spad? Thanks

Outstanding! It's a beauty, lanslide. I think you will love it. Let us know what you think when it arrives.

I reiterate... I challenge anyone to find a better built diecast model than a C1 bi/triplane. I must admit, they are not my favorite models (WWI is not my favorite era), but four outstanding workmanship, you simply cannot beat them for fit, finish, and detail... they have the whole package. I have eight C1 models. This is the ONLY line I have collected (other than wonky rubber bits on the WWII birds) that have NOT had QC issues. They are done right. Lord knows I have complained as loudly as anyone about the absence of in-flight display stands, and the rubber bitty parts, but I sure appreciate the workmanship and TLC that goes into each C1 model I have collected.

Now I challenge the rest of you to quickly buy up all the remaining C1 models on the market so C1 will get back to the business of releasing more models! For workmanship, quality, and selection, there is no better 1:48 maker out there.
