Same here, jp! Man, I'm holding out for the third Fw-190D of Franz Gotz...but at this rate I may just have to order the Barkhorn "Dora".

Well, those pictures got me. I just ordered one and I swore that I would collect nothing but 1:72. As Sean Connery said about doing James Bond, "never say never".

I said the same thing and now I've got 4 1:48's including this one on the way. (and 1 professionally done kit) Could someone refresh my memory on the story behind the red underside?

very simple, to keep their own flak gunners from shooting them down, Me 262 fields were heavily protected since the best way for the Allies to down the jets was during takeoff and landing.

Really? I thought it was to resemble candy canes as they escorted Santa's sleigh. It seemed plausible since Santa wasn't ever reported shot down and it was a rather festive scheme but I guess I was misinformed.

I just got my Red 4 out of the box and I'm real glad I didn't pass this one up it's simply awesome.
