Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

Oh not again, please dont do this to me guys. A man can only take so much. I dont have and dont want any 1/48 scale models . BUT But it looks so perfect sitting there, I can almost hear it calling me. It has just cost me $100 from the last time you lot raved about a model, I guess I must be of weak character. Say again, I must not be tempted ,I must not be tempted. GGGrrrnnn I must not be, I must not, I must, AAArgh

God Bless America.

I hear you Jim. I'm a sucker for the new stuff too. Unfortunately, I was never able to restrain my self to one scale. Now it seems that I can't even restrict my collecting to diecast.

All right, I hate all you rat bastards and especially Mark for his addicting photos. I swore only 1:72, then these pictures showed up and now a 1:48 "Red 4" is sitting on my dining room table. Can't have just one 1:48 now, can I? No, I am sure that I will be lured into other purchases. You all are just plain evil

Get yourself a nice P-51B Mustang to go the it.
That would look nice.

Eagle International's bare metal finish Mustangs are AWESOME!!! I don't own an OD model, but they look awesome also. Carousel's P-40 isn't bad either.

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

The Flying Mule now has them on back order. I nearly pulled the trigger , but my will power kicked in, and for now I am patiently waiting for the D-13. Here are some interesting links regarding the D-13, including the recently restored real thing:

I love the diorama pics. It would be nice to have dioramas of that quality available pre-built.
