It seems to happen to most of us i'm sure.
I started with 1/48 and slipped to the 1/72 and have a few 1/32 & 1/35.
Never mind...it's just does not end there...
Now i ordered one of these Red4 since i can't get me Tomcats yet.
Oh correction wife says she got it for me for Christmas.

Very, very true - Carousel have really raised the bar with this one. Definitely one of the best pieces of die-cast ever made .

Well, it seems that I too have fallen to the power of suggestive selling. I've never purchased a Carousel aircraft before, let alone a 1:48 scale aircraft, but your raving (and ranting) over this aircraft have compelled me to take the plunge. Had some money in the US Paypal account that was just burning a hole in my hard drive anyways.

Very nice pictures, and if this aircraft is half as nice as you guys say it is, I may have to get the Galland Bf109 and the Barkhorn FW as well.

I'm having new model display cabinets built as part of my basement reno's (new bar, new floors, new 58" plasma t.v......you know, that old schtick), so I guess I should get planes while I'm still allowed. The cabinets should allow for bigger aircraft, so I can easily explain this purchase....but honey, I have to get larger scale to fill them up quicker...or something like that.

Come on 'Mule, don't fail me now. 1 less of the 1200 available.

I received mine today and it is phenomenal. I was sold on Carousel with the Galland but this one takes it to another level. The detail of the inboard cannons being visible in the gear bays was a very nice touch.

Beautiful.

You've seen dragon's similar version in 1:72, right? The paint scheme's apparently not as accurate as Carousel's but it still looks pretty sweet to me....
