Great Pics!

I saw on your website that
Franz Goetz's D-13 is due in the first quarter of 2007. Is there a more specific due date than that? Also, is there any indication as to what Carousel will come out with after that?

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

In my opinion this must be the finest die-cast rendition of a FW190D to date - Carousel have truly done themselves proud . For now they are in a class of their own with this range, with no competition in sight ...

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

I really like the close up shots of that "Red4".
I'm in so much trouble right now i can't buy any diecast in Dec...
Wifes orders....Time to think of others during the Holidays..
That is really a nice Fw190D-11....
JP

Think of others?!?!?!?!

Hey, I've got an idea! Let's think of others...I'll think of you JP and send you a lovely new FW-190 and you, being the kind hearted individual that you are, will do the same. We don't violate the spirit of the season or spousal rule #43 under section c. and we still get one of these stonkingly handsome aeroplanes.

Now if that isn't the best secret Santa idea ever...??

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

These appear to be selling very fast and are likely to become a very sought after collector's item in future with their limited run of 1200, especially when considering the fact that it's unlikely that this particular FW190D11 will be made again any time soon by another manufacturer.

I've thrown caution to the wind with regard to this particular model and have purchased it because it is exceptionally and will most likely become one of the top three pieces in my die-cast collection .

(Starman, you'll have to persuade your other half that this will be THE Christmas present for you as even the colours match the season .)

Mark at Onmark told me they are VERY close to selling out of both shipments... My D11 is one of my top planes in my collection as of today..

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw190D-11 "Red 4"

My D11 is on the way with my seaplane Swordfish and Marge. I can't wait.... I also can't wait for the last of me pre-orders to arrive early next year. My days of ordering months in advance are over since few reliable retailers seem to offer discounts with pre-orders (which I can understand but it was a carrot for me).

The pictures are causing me serious stress, however. Maybe I need a Barkhorn as well?

Well, those pictures got me. I just ordered one and I swore that I would collect nothing but 1:72. As Sean Connery said about doing James Bond, "never say never".

Good luck Wmosner, now that you're on the 'slippery slope' of 1/48 there's no turning back ... (same thing has happened to me with 1/32 scale - was limiting myself to one and now have five ... .)

By the way, the perfect complement for this model is the 1/48 Galland Me262 from Franklin Mint (I'm aware that combined they may not be historically accurate i.e. not necessarily flown alongside one another).
