Any word on Dora Fw190???

Has anyone heard about delivery on these?? They are supposed to be out anytime now, just wondering if they are out yet..

He asking about the 1/48 scale Barkhorn's #7141 Fw190D-9 or Hoffman's #7142 Fw190D-11.
Running a little behind their date it seems for at least the Barkhorn.
Soo far all i'm hearing is still Nov 2006.

Re: Any word on Dora Fw190???

The third Butcher Bird pictured is the steed of Franz Gotz (#7143 Fw190D-13) Commander of JG 26....tentatively set for early 2007 release, and is the livery I'm going for. Incidentally, that particular scheme is the subject of close up pictorial on page 46 in the current issue of Flight Journal magazine, where I took the pictured ads from Carousel's new 1/48 Fw 190Ds.

Re: Any word on Dora Fw190???

I have Red 4 on pre-order from Martin and am chomping at the bit to get my hands on it. I have the Galland 109 and it is one of my absolute favorites. I'm certain to be adding more Carousel 1 models to my collection as I am finally obtaining the older Corgi and GMP releases which were taking up most of my funds. Beautiful models.

Yipee! Now for the other items I have in the same pre-order. Why I lump any Corgi 1/50 armor pieces with aircraft orders I will never know since they NEVER make their delivery dates on these from my experience. Hmmm, maybe it is time to shuffle my pre-orders again.
