Looks sweet -- I've been eyeing on of the GMP 1/12 Vettes... but the thought of expanding into cars, with my willpower, is scaring me off!

$270USD, which puts it in CMC and EXOTO territory. I don't think I'll be getting one, unless GMP will keep production numbers under 500 AND the final product will look better than hastily assembled prototype. I like GMP cars, but despite high level of detail they lack finesse of CMC and EXOTO, and the quality of materials as well as finishing could be better. $270US is twice the price of regular GMP, and I would like to think that it's attributed more to "increased everything" rather than licensing costs.

Regards,

Sergey

There is this in 1/18, but get ready for the 1/8 they have announced!

From what I've heard the run on these is 600. $270 is a pretty hefty list price. I wouldn't pay this much for one but I know a dealer who would sell one for $187.00.

Re: GMP Ferrari 330 P4

That car is beautiful but that price is scary. I've got a couple of 1:18th cars but nothing in that range.

Anything for a weird life.

Thanks Sergey! $270USD sounds reasonable for a gorgeous model like that, but I'm with you too in that I won't be getting one.
