Re: Collecting 69 Dodge Chargers.

The New Challenger looks great as well. My 1969 has a 440 Magnum. I always wanted to get the Hemi, but I really love my fresh rebuilt 440.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Collecting 69 Dodge Chargers.

There is no doubt that you guys over the pond have built some beautiful autos in the past.
A big part of visiting the US is have the pleasure of seeing them, however on my last trip these old beauts were very thin on the ground.
In the four weeks I was there I only saw five (three of them around Cape Cod), where have they all gone?

Are they all in garages because they are now rare and expensive perhaps.

Oh how much I would like to cruise around in a Charger, just perfect.

God Bless America.

I'm kind of surprised you saw that many, Jim...you don't see very many out cruising around anymore..at least not up here in the Great White North anyway (not even in summer).....I think mostly people are worried that some clown is going to plow into them...

Re: Collecting 69 Dodge Chargers.

I know, but they aren't bad looking. Most modern cars suck as far as looks go.

Yeccccccccch!...

(Chargers shouldn't have 4 doors)

At least the got it right with the challenger!!!

Re: Collecting 69 Dodge Chargers.

I love the '69 Charger....I used to have a '70 with a 383 hp...I loved that car......'Curious Yellow' with a black bumble bee stripe across the rear ...I still kick myself for selling it.

Mustangdriver has a '69 all done up as the General Lee ......sharp looking car!

So skunky why did you sell??? And how long ago did you get rid of it???

Well because I'm not the sharpest bulb on the tree......I lost 'er back in 1990 around the same time as I was making a whole boatload of other real bad decisions...
