BBR Models: Ferrari 375 Plus

Images found at articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-30956876-_JM

After being reminded today that I collect diecast auto too. I was browsing the net and found these beautiful pictures of the Ferrari 375 Plus by BBR.

Re: BBR Models: Ferrari 375 Plus

The MSRP tag on this puppy is $300USD. LE 6,000 x 3 liveries. Not going to cut it since the model is inferior to CMC and has two problematic areas for people who play with their models. Hood straps and rear fasteners are a bitch to undo. For less than half of a price Minichamps Carroll Shelby's Maserati tipo 61 "Birdcage" is much more enjoyable model:

Re: BBR Models: Ferrari 375 Plus

I own the Lemans version. I wasn't aware that CMC made a model of this car.

I also own a CMC Birdcage Maserati and a Minichamps Birdcage....I need to sit down with them and see if the CMC version is worth twice the money.

Sorry, poor wording on my part. I've meant in general, recent new-tooling CMC releases are superior in every way to BBR at somewhat lower price.

Re: BBR Models: Ferrari 375 Plus

The Ferrari is stunning. Shows what can be done with a higher selling price and buyers that will support it.

I have an Autoart C Type Jag that I am impressed with. bought it maybe 4 years ago. Need to check on what is out there today.

Thanks for showing the pix Admin.
