Re: Starman's 1:24 scale Nascar Collection

Starman, I think you may just have a problem ... . What the heck, don't we all ... .

I don't know about you ...But i have to say i really started this race car collecting first back in 1994 in the 1/64 scales.
Then in 1999 my friend and i opened a diecast shop and that's what got me into getting all of these 1/24 scales and i do have a few 1/18's by the way.
I sold my part of the shop back in 2003 i just had a really hard time collecting after Dale died and just didn't want to do it anymore.
But my friend would always give me a Harvick & Dale Jr car when ever they had the special schemes come out and thanks to my kids they slowly got me back into collecting some of the drivers.
Last year alone i just got 1 Jimmie Johnson RCCA Elite and 2 Denny Hamlin special paint scheme RCCA Elite's and that was it.
I cut back alot on Nascar diecast. They are nice to look at and very detailed too.
RCCA stands for Racing Collectables Club of America made by Action....Just last year Action sold out to another company called Motorsports Authentics that still keeps the RCCA name. I'm a lifetime member of RCCA.

Roger that!

I have a few 1/24 Petty rides:

1964 Plymouth Belvedere

1970 Superbird (Southern)

also a 1970 Superbird driven by Pete Hamilton (Daytona 500 winner)

I love Petty Blue!

Re: Starman's 1:24 scale Nascar Collection

I've got a lime Superbird in 1/18, with all the authentic SB decals. I also have a Le Mans Porsche, same scale.

If that's the Ertl version of the SB, I have one as well. I dig that color!

Which LM Porsche? I have a few GT1 and GT2 911s, including the Superflow version from UT Models.

Heya TopHat!

The Porsche is similar to Steve MacQueens version, only a different number; circa 1969. Very wedge shaped and streamlined.

Yes, I have the Ertle SB. It is nice. Almost got a chrome black one, but decided to get into the warbird side of the hobby as it's really my big interest in life.

What else ya got? I have a Torino, '71 Stang, and several others.
