| Pappy Honored!!! No, not our resident Diecast Ace. Perhaps everyone knew this and I just missed it, but the memory of Pappy Boyington was honored when the airport in Coeur d'Alene was renamed Pappy Boyington Field last year in honor of its MOH-winning native son. Pappy Boyington Field A Campaign to Honor a Hero Documentary Film Pappy Boyington Field News Detail Pretty darn cool and great "take that" to the dipsticks at University of Washington who torpedoed the attempt to erect a statue in his honor. | |||||||||||||
