RIP Arthur Clark,,,
I liked that "2001: A Space Odyssey" when i was a kid.
Also he was a Royal Air Force officer during World War II, Clarke took part in the early development of radar.

Yep, he was one of the greats. He came up with the idea of communications satellites; imagine that.

The Visionary: read A Childhood's End. Fascinating book--and find out who the REAL bad guys are.

Rest in peace, Arthur.

Your books opened my eyes to all of the quality sci-fi writing that's out there... you will be missed.
