This Day In History: Battle of the Bulge Begins

Officially called the Ardennes Offensive, this major German counter-offensive on the Western Front during WWII was the largest land battle in US Army history. Hitler planned to split the Allied line, enabling the German army to capture Antwerp and trap four Allied armies, thus ensuring a victory. Re: This Day In History: Battle of the Bulge Begins

My "Battle of the Bulge" started last night as we got ready for the big Holiday party for the wife's work at 6PM. It was a real stuggle and barely got into the pants I bought for the Holiday party last year. But by the looks at some of the other folks attending the party, I wasn't the only one fighting the "Battle of the Bulge" either. Some of the outfits some of the ladies wore wasn't too appealing on the eyes. The party was a big succuss as usuall and a good time was had by all.
