Don't over-react, Guys. That's just what the kind of people who do this sort of thing want you to do. They want to show the world that the western democracies are ' Reactionary ' i.e. they can provoke a violent reaction to what they will contest is a ' political ' act.

Sure, tell them exactly what you think about their actions ( and don't mince your words! ) but don't fall into the trap of advocating violence on the little b.............s! That's the way that they win! They have proved their point ; that The USA will react first and ask questions later.

Shooting from the hip is a reaction to a threat. It is not how you deal with mosquitoes!

The people who have done this do not subscribe to the values which most Americans hold dear. They have no interest in 'joining' a tribute to the soldiers to whom most Americans owe a solemn prayer of gratitude for the sacrifice of their lives in a time of peril. No, that's not their goal. Their goal is to destroy the fabric of the west. To divide communities. To provoke the blind reaction.

It will come as no surprise to anyone that they don't think of the pain they cause to the families of the dead. Their calculation is beyond that measure. They aim to disrupt and to confuse.

The desecration of graves in Europe has become endemic. Graveyards are a very soft target for these cowards. The resting places of the dead of ethnic minorities and the memorials to former occupiers have clearly become targets here. Very little is reported because it has become common, and also because it is divisive.

There is little to be done to prevent the actions of the nightcrawlers except to catch and convict them. Perhaps a salutory lesson in punishment and being faced with the families of the dead might shame them, but I doubt it. My impression is that they want to make a point and to hit the media with it as quickly as possible.
