| Re: CIA bird back home
The YF-12 was a prototype interceptor aircraft that the USAF evaluated as a development of the CIA's highly-secret A-12 Oxcart. Only 3 were ever built. It had a armament of 3 x Hughes Aim-47A air to air missles located internally in the fuselage bay. JP P.S. There is only one left in the world today she can be seen at the National Museum of the USAF at Wright-Patterson AFB near Dayton,Ohio. Also if you want to see the A-12 two seat trainer ever built it's on display at Cailfornia Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles,Calif. | ||||||||||||||
