Re: 9-11 The Mystery plane

Intriguing!

Looks like an E-4B to me, too.

Wonder what it did over DC that day...

Re: 9-11 The Mystery plane

We just love our conspiracy theories, don't we?......

So an E-4B (and obviously that's exactly what it was) was flying over D.C. that morning........big whoop.......

9/11 was perpetrated by Arab terrorists....As much as I disdain this administration, not even I for one second, could believe that they would have any hand in orchestrating the horror of that day.....

Anybody seen Elvis lately?

Si it's a military aircraft...military closed-mouthed about it...sure it has it's reasons.....no conspiracy!

Re: 9-11 The Mystery plane

It sounds like the crew did its job and got airborne quickly during a national emergency.
These things are normally based at Offutt; but like any other squadron, may have had one of their planes on a routine off-site deployment. If one was on the ground at Andrews, or doing touch and go's at Dover at the time of the attack, that would explain why it was low and slow over DC a short time later. Sorry to burst the Conspiracy News Network's bubble...

A logical explanation makes a perfect cover!

I was having trouble formulating a logical reply-until I put on my tin foil-lined hat. Then my thoughts became clear...

What kills me is why can't they just admit, they were doing thier job. Everyone has to deny everything. Whether it is the US Government (all parties, not just the present) or the Military. Why can't someone just stand up and say "Yes, it was our plane and look at how fast those boys were there doing thier job"

Now if it wasn't the Air Force One or an E-4B, than why isn't someone looking into it and saying who it was. It is not like during 9/11 they didn't know where every single aircraft was.

It was an airborne command post in the air that day. It was where it was supposed to be, when it was supposed to be there.
I'd compare this situation to one requiring the use of NEST aircraft. Personally, I don't care where they are flying, as long as they ARE up and doing their job when required, then I'm satisfied.

Yes. And that is what they should be telling the press when they ask, don't deny that it was an Airforce vehicle and make everybody speculate on why it was there. It is like throwing fuel on the fire.
